Cathy Fox is the Advocate of the Month for August

Cathy is a Salem County advocate who joined the CASA of CGS team in the Fall of 2016. Since being sworn-in, Cathy has served 8 children. She is currently single-handedly advocating on a case with six children.

Her peer coordinator, Dot, says, “From her very first case, Cathy was all-in. She was fully committed to ensuring that the children she was advocating for were getting all they needed, and that the courts knew all of the circumstances surrounding the situation they were living in and were removed from. She is like a private detective when needing information and leaves no stone unturned. In her present case, Cathy is advocating for six children. If she cannot reach the family to make an appointment, she makes unannounced visits, even introducing Family Strengthening Network to ensure the family is getting all of the resources available to them. Cathy also works closely with DCP&P to ensure the information she has obtained is consistent and up to date. She communicates often and well.  It is a pleasure to work with Cathy on all of her cases.”

CASA of CGS is so proud to have an advocate like Cathy on our team. Her court reports are always on time, thorough and completely objective. She is truly an asset to the organization and Salem County.

Thank you, Cathy, for the selfless dedication to the child we serve and to our community!
